November's thirty days of what I am thankful for:
Day five I am thankful for the roof over our heads. I am so thankful that I have a place to call home. Thankful that my family has a home of our own. I am thankful that at the end of everyday I can go home and tuck our children in their beds. I am so very thankful that we have a place to be protected from all the elements of weather.

November's thirty days of what I am thankful for:
Day three I am thankful for my amazing friends. I am so thankful for all my girls and dudes that are there no matter what. I'm thankful that my girls and I have wine nights. I'm so thankful that my dude friends will come to a Scentsy party. I have been truly blessed with amazing friends and I am so very thankful for them.
Here's to good times!

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
Thankful 2
November's thirty days of what I am thankful for:
Day two, I am thankful for my faith. I want to be VERY clear on this. I am so thankful for the grace of God. Thank you Lord for loving the imperfect me. Thank you Lord. Thank you.
*SOAP BOX*
I am thankful for the Lord God Almighty. NOT to be confused with what our culture has intertwined as religion and the worship of religion. My family growing up fell into the later. We went to church on Sunday, youth group on Wednesday and attended every church event. That did not make us God fearing children. The facade of going to church DOES NOT make a better Christian, in fact I dare say it might make it harder on you. People get so distracted in the face time at church to show others that they are there. When in reality you go home and all beats are off. I'm not saying this is true for all, but I can guess that it's a majority of us. The title of a religion is just that. It's a title.
I don't know that I have all the words to express this. However there is a YouTube that my brother showed me that is so awesome. I attached it but just in case it doesn't pull up for you Google it, Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus.

Book log: Fifty Shades of Grey
Fifty Shades of Grey
By: EL James
Overall Rating
FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS

Fifty Shades of Grey
THREE out of five stars
When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.
My thoughts:
What the heck?! How did I get talked into reading this book? I do not ever want my Momma to know that I read this! HOLY COW!
I read the book mostly to find out what everyone was talking about. It's one of those books where you really don't want anyone to be reading over your shoulder or you might start blushing.
I found myself a few times yelling at Ana to get out. Leave the 50 shades of F-ed up man.
Just by the by... this book is defiantly for the mature audience.
I was pretty sure that I was done reading the series after I was about half way through the book. Then suddenly, I realized I was looking at the book from the wrong angle. I should have been reading it to find out why Christian is the way he is.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fifty Shades Darker
FIVE out of five stars
Daunted by the singular sexual tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront her anger and envy of the women who came before her and make the most important decision of her life.
My thoughts:
Please get past the whole 'they do it what way' factor. Look at the actual relationship that these two people are trying to create. Look at how and why Christan is the way he is and you find a mystery. Why does Ana keep going back after she can't handle hearing any more? You find that she is falling in love with someone that by all means she shouldn't be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fifty Shades Freed
FOUR out of five stars
When unworldly student Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged young entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and ultimately repelled by Christian's singular sexual tastes, Ana demanded a deeper commitment; determined to keep her, Christian agreed. Now, together, they have more-love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy and being together poses challenges neither of them ever anticipated. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian's opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity, identity, or independence; Christian must somehow overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that blighted his past and haunt his present. Just when it seems that together their love can conquer any obstacle, tragedy, malice and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true.
My thoughts:
Married. Yep. They've known each other a few months and she married him. It's all stars and rainbows until someone gets hurt....

It's learning who Christian is behind the 50 shades.
