Personalities
When you see your children start to develop their own personality it's... freaking awesome. That's the only way I can think to describe it. We have watched our little guys grow their own personalities and are so blessed to continue to see them develop into amazing little men.
Tooth
Louis lost his first tooth... in only the Louis fashion way : )
This is the conversation that Louis and i had about his first wiggly tooth that is about to fall out.
Lou- Mom, my tooth is really wiggles now. (Yes, this is how he said it)
Me- Let me see
[I wiggle tooth and it comes out. No reaction from Louis]
Me- Louis, it's out
Lou- Oh! Ok.
Samual- OH MY GOODNESS LOUIS!!!! MOM IS THERE BLOOD! LOUIS! LET ME SEEEE!!!
Louis- Yeah.

Vroom
So in our family we have a few... how do I say this nicely... neat freaks.
It comes from both my maternal grandparents, it's been handed down through the generations. It has defiantly continued on down to our boyz.

~ I'm breaking the rules on this one. ~
This is not my picture.
I was only a year old when this picture was taken.
However the magic that happened in this game lives on.
Kid's two-out single started the 10th-inning rally
that set up one of the most memorable sequences of events in baseball history.
Gary Carter aka 'Kid' one of the three captain trio,
inducted to the hall of fame in 2003,
died at the age of 57 yesterday.
No I do not cheer for the Mets.
However I take my hat off for you Gary Carter,
as you were what the true and basic rules are of baseball.
Thank you for showing us what the slogan
'For the love of the game' truly meant every game that you played.

Camp Opportunity
Please take a moment to read the article that my brother-in-law, Jared Launius, wrote. If you don't have a tissue you may want to grab a few.

January
What reading/learning did I do this month?
Diana Gabaldon has sucked me into another one of her amazing books. “A Breath of Snow and Ashes”
What entertainment did I watch/listen to this month?
We took the boys to see “Beauty and the Beast” IN 3-D. I’m not sure who had more fun. The kiddos or the adults.
What fun things did I do with my family and/or friends?
We have started the tradition of going to our favorite restaurant on Wednesday nights.
What gifts did I give and/or receive?
Papa Mel’s birthday was this month…. There may have been some silly gifts given J Also the tooth fairy left a present for Mr. Samual, YES he lost his first tooth.
What special or unusual purchases did I make?
Samual got glasses!
What illnesses or health concerns did I have?
We had a few doctor visits this month. Louis went to the doctor for having a virus in his eye. Samual had to go to the doctor with Dad. He also had a dentist appointment and an eye doctor appointment.
What were my accomplishments this month?
I don’t know if I can claim this accomplishment, but I will for now. THE DUCKS WON THE ROSE BOWL!!!
What were my disappointments this month?
Not a disappointment… but a loss. We lost my cousin Ty. Wonderful man and will be truly missed.
How did I do on my goals for the month?
I’ve been trying to get more crafts out with the kiddos. We did a few this month and it makes me soooo happy to see the boys get involved in arts.
Anything else noteworthy to include?
Potty training with Rian is going VERY GOOOD!!! He may be the youngest but I think he is getting the knack of it the quickest.
What I'm eating: No eating… Drinking coffee!!!
What I'm wearing: Warm boots, jeans, sweater.
My last Nook/iTunes/Audible purchase: I found another series that Diana Gabaldon wrote!
Lord John and the Private Matter
What I need to do today: The same thing we do every day Pinky, try to take over the world… or at least try and get the laundry done.
What the kids are doing: Samual is at kindergarten, Louis is at pre-school and Rian is running-amuck!
How I'm feeling: Yucky. There is something going around. Oh no!!!
What I'm listening to: A Breath of Snow and Ashes
Words to describe January: Whirlwind
